Okay Megs this is proof that I read your blog and am a good sister-in-law. (Although, I do have plenty to talk about on my blogs as I am one who can talk forever about nothing and also I have the most entertaining kids ever....no not crazy...entertaining. It is refreshing to talk about someone other than the little people though)

My 5 Favorite Shows
  1. Brothers and Sisters... as you all know I come from a huge family and we are more than a little crazy. I love how involved this family is in each others lives and while we do not have the drama...I can totally relate.
  2. House...I know he is one of the rudest people to walk the face of the earth, but we were raised to use sarcasm as a weapon and he is a master. I find him hilarious
  3. Heroes...In the past two weeks our TV has decided to be to fuzzy to really watch Heroes and at first I was not too worried, I will just watch it online later..then Wyatt decided our computer was too slow (He is right cour computer is way too antiquated) and he tried to fix it. Of course, in the process he has permanently disabled our speakers so the computer has no sound! No heroes. I am going to have to stay up all night watching past episodes online when I go home to IF next!
  4. Grey's Anatomy...frankly I don't know why I watch this show still as I am not overly impressed with this season, but I find that without fail on Thursday night there I am in front of the TV watching another ridiculous episode. Maybe someone else is controlling my body...hmm
  5. Friends...I know I know it is off the air so it probably doesn't count, but in truth it is my favorite tv show of all time and it should be listed as number one I will never get sick of watching old reruns. Actually, once I get started on old tv shows they are way better then the ones I have listed. I guess that I am a fan of the good old fashioned sit coms and I loved CSI and Alias. I also like 24, Lost, and Prison Break, but I have come to like watching them a season at a time. I like being sucked in to watching them all back to back at the cabin (WOW what a waste of 24 hours! I love it!)
My 5 Favorite Restaurants
  1. Olive garden... I still love their bread sticks and salad... I am not sure their main dishes are even that good
  2. Texas Roadhouse
  3. Carino's I love Italian food
  4. Sizzler... I know my family hates this restaurant which is probably why I like it we never go there
  5. Anywhere where you don't have to take kids and someone cooks and waits of you!

5 Things that happened yesterday(It is now midnight and I am playing on the computer...how dumb am I. Seems yesterday was today when I started this)
  1. Stayed up all night with Rhiannyn. She is usually a really good sleeper, but decided that she was only going to sleep if I was holding her. At the beginning of the evening I was sure I couldn't sleep that way...at about three o'clock I discovered that I can probably sleep pretty much any way ...I love sleep!
  2. Picked a ton of pears at Aunt Ceri's house. We are going to make the best jam. I can't wait. Jordyn was mad that she didn't have time to play with the horses. Seems we are going to have to make another trip to Ceri's first
  3. Bought a freezer on KSL. We only have a normal fridge/freezer which is never over full, but now we have a HUGE chest freezer that is totally empty. Why you ask? Because it was such a smoking deal I decided everyone needs a HUGE empty freezer.
  4. Went to the doctors. The doctor is never fun, but it turns out that my doctor finds me hilarious because I only spend five minutes with her tops. I never have questions to ask because I already asked dad (my own personal physician) and I hate to waste her time or bug her for any reason. If all her patients were like me she would get pain a million dollars an hour. She keeps thinking that there has to be more to the office visit.
  5. Watched House...it was Tuesday after all

5 Things I am looking forward to

  1. Buying an Acadia. I can't wait to have a new car..not to mention one with all the bells and whistles and one that is big enough that it will fit everyone without us trying to pile on top of each other
  2. Going home. I love my house in Eagle Mountain and it is totally home so why do I consider myself going home every time I go to IF? I guess even when you get old home is still home. I love spending time with my parents and siblings...Wow...I must be getting old...who actually likes their family?!
  3. Winning the lottery They say your chances are not significantly increased by buying a lottery ticket so I guess that means that there is hope.

5 Things I love about Fall
  1. Being able to wear big bulky sweaters without feeling like you have giving up on your appearance
  2. I love fall colors...I want to decorate all my house in the fall orange, red, green, purple, and brown
  3. I like the cool but not cold weather. I like the feeling of curling up with a good book and eating soup or hot chocolate. Oh, and fleece or velour blankets!
  4. I like the crisp feel in the air...it is invigorating
5 Things on my wish list
  1. A vacation without little people
  2. An Acadia (soon... Thanksgiving weekend)
  3. A new computer
  4. Decorations for my house...the problem with being a new home owner and also one of a huge house is that it is totally empty. I keep finding things that I want, but it seems that you can't buy it all at once... bummer
5 Random facts about me

  1. I hate questions like this. They are almost as bad as that what makes you unique or what does no one else know about you. Random? What is random?
  2. I actually enjoy my little children. Even when they are monsters. Apparently I enjoy chaos and am masochistic. I love being home all day and I love hanging out with my kids. They really are the best entertainment that I have . Who would have thought that I would be the one to become a boring homemaker. (Well, I guess that we always knew that I was never going to be a Martha Stuart, but although I always knew that I would want kids I never pegged myself as being happy staying home. I was always too interested in a career or other accomplishment.)
  3. I actually enjoy working. It is the perfect set up. I get to talk with my mother every day and have an adult conversation that does not involve children. I get to take a nap whenever I want. I get a little more play money and can always use the excuse that I am a working mom when the house is not as clean as it should be or dinner is late. The best of both worlds. Also.. it helps that my boss truly loves me.
  4. I cannot start a movie and not finish it. This has led to watch some of the dumbest movies ever made but for some reason I simply cannot walk away. It is the same with books.
  5. I am surprisingly a big fan of blogging. It took me a really long time to get into the groove and even then it was more a result of persistent gentle nudges from family and friends, but I love that I have a better idea of what is going on with those of you that I don't get to see enough. I love feeling like I am closer and that I get to share in the big and little moments of my family and friends.... Also, it is fun to see that we all have a lot of the same joys and challenges.

Thanks Jenae! I really do love that you have a blog now. It is nice to "feel" a little closer to home. We are very excited to see you and your family. Only about 1 more month. Yeah! I want to see your house as well. But not sure if I will have a car to do so. Actually I have a friend that is supposed to have a baby a few days before I come home and she also lives in Eagle Mtn. which means I should be able to see you.
