This December we made a list of everything that made Christmas Christmas and have been systematically doing everything on the list. This is the first year that we are not going to Idaho Falls for Christmas as I have to work the weekend before and the weekend after. We started with making Christmas houses. They look a lot like graham cracker rectangles covered in frosting and candy. Bella just got the candy. Rhee has started to pose for all her photos.
Then we went sledding out on a great hill by our house. The snow was perfect, and we all had a blast flying down the hill.
Finally, we wrote letters to Santa. I told them they had to ask for something they want, something to read, something to wear, and something they need. Most of them are even in that order. Some might wonder if the older kids beleive in Santa. I think they understand well that nonbelievers do not get Christmas presents.
