This is my lipstick. It looks much better on me than on the carpet. Damion had to test it out!
In Wyatt's defense the kids were happily sleeping when I got home. I guess he thought I might need proof that they were changed.
Dishes are my job and he will leave them for me no matter how long we are gone. If he runs out of dishes he will eat out of the pan.
Yes, this is my Mountain Dew, but no I did not put it under the table. Any thoughts as to who?We often spend a week each month in Idaho Falls visiting my family and catching up at the office. Well, May brought us trips almost every weekend. Typically, I take the kids with me when I go on a trip. Mindy and mom came down for a weekend to watch Alex in his school play. We had a great time playing together and Saturday we left the two youngest home with Wyatt and went out to browse some stores. We had only intended to be gone a couple of hours, but when we were almost home poor Mindy called to say that the Mountaineer had blown a tire and in an attempt to avoid hitting other cars she hit the wall along the freeway and broke her axle. Two policemen were called to the scene and were able to change her tire and limp her off the freeway. They were so impressed that she had not caused a major accident that they didn't see any reason to give her a ticket. We rushed down to see if we could be any help, but the car was in bad enough shape that dad ended up borrowing a trailer and driving down, picking it up, and driving back. Poor guy! Meanwhile, we had four more hours to blow playing in Bountiful. By the time that we got home, it was after eleven. It turns out that poor Wyatt had an eventful day without us. Here are a few pictures.
Wyatt is a great involved dad. I am so grateful that he is willing to take care of his kids and pitch in whenever I need help. I just could not resist when I saw my Mountain Dew under the table.
